A little bit about me
I’ve been running around with microphones since the age of 8, so it was no surprise to anyone that after a brief life as a musician, and a pint or two with the late, great, John Peel, I found my feet in the television industry as a Studio Sound Supervisor at the MTV Europe Studios, Camden. As my skillset and audio equipment built up I also moved into location documentary sound, and I now have over 20 years experience in my chosen field of Location Sound Recording. It’s been my pleasure to have travelled extensively at home and abroad in this role, and have worked on some superb productions; High-end documentaries, commercials, drama docs, factual entertainment, observational documentaries, magazine shows, five feature films, a tonne of short films, and a tonne and a half of corporate and branded content. In 2021 I added drone filming to my skillset and now operate also as a fully licensed commercial drone pilot and videographer.
In 2011 I was able to take time out to fulfil an ambition of producing my own comedy documentary: ‘SplinterBike’ was a year long project, and I’m very proud to say it went on to be broadcast in 6 countries, and included in Emirates’ and Singapore Airline’s in-flight entertainment.

Rates
I operate like most professional crew, and charge standard rates for projects. 10hr and 12hr day rates. I don’t charge over the odds and don’t hide any costs.
